Depp-position Part 2

I must say, it has been hard watching Johnny give testimony at his defamation suit these last two days. He has been brutally honest about everything from his fascination with Amber at their first meeting on the set of The Rum Diary to his drug and alcohol use, to the abuse he suffered at her hands. He never allowed his emotions to get the better of him, however, during the past two days of inquisition.

Cross examination started late today. Amber’s lawyer was on point, as bad as I hate to admit it, using what little time he had today to narrow the focus of the jury to strictly what was stated in Johnny’s complaint. Basically, this is not about who abused whom, but about the article Amber penned in 2018, talking about her experience as a victim of abuse.

In short, she never mentioned Johnny by name, only citing the difficulties she has faced in recent past. Not enough to call for immediate dismissal of the case, but they are apparently hoping enough to give the jurors pause. Also was mentioned the joint statement, written by lawyers and signed by both Johnny and Amber, stating that their relationshio was “volatile”, and no false charges of abuse had ever been stated by either party.

So, I’m gonna throw my two cents in- Heard’s lawyer seems to think that, because of the document signed in 2016 during their divorce, that states that no false charges of abuse had been stated, Johnny’s case is moot. My opinion? Bullshit. At the time of the divorce, in 2015-2016, the statement might have been true. However, the article published in 2018 that is the focus of this case was written 2 years later, and is not subject to the first document’s criteria.

All I can say is good luck, but we all know Johnny’s in the right. As Always and forever JUSTICE FOR JOHNNY DEPP!!!!!!!!
