I regret to bring y’all a bit of bad news on this lovely spring/summer morning. The Deppheads and Hiddlestoners podcast has been growing steadily since the New Year, and for that I am so, so grateful to every single one of you that spent your time and energy here with us- every week or only once, it truly means more to me than you will ever know. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, at least for a little while.

We’ve had some “staffing issues” recently, and my co-host’s already considerable responsibilities have, once again, grown. That, combined with me moving the studio to a different location and also taking on greater responsibilities lately, leaves both of us patently unable to continue our weekly downloads at this time. It breaks my heart, but tonight’s podcast will be the last for a while, until I can resituate, re-evaluate and hopefully reinstate the weekly downloads that I hope you’ve loved listening to as much as I’ve loved recording.

But with every cloud there’s a silver lining… just a small sliver of light in the darkness, if you will. If all goes according to plan, and I can stay pretty close to the timeline I’ve set, we should be back up and running- hopefully by Samhain/Day of the Dead/Fall Celebration/Halloween, but absolutely no later than Yule/Winter Solstice/Christmas. IF, and at the moment that’s a mighty big IF, all goes well and according to plan.

This blog will remain up and running, and I give my word not to let too much time slip by between posts. I’ll also be saying my until-we-meet-again’s at the end of this last podcast. So I “hope to see you there” as they say, and I hope you will stick around and check the blog for updates from time to time. Who knows… maybe I’ll surprise you!

This journey we’ve begun is nowhere near finished yet. With a little time, patience and energy, we will be back on track and better than ever. So to each and every one of you- a huge and heartfelt thank you from Barry and me for the last six months, a wish for your prosperity and happiness, and of course… JUSTICE FOR JOHNNY DEPP!!!!!! Y’all have a wonderful summer, and I’ll see ya on the flip side.
